Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump visited to a remote area of Arizona's southern border on Thursday, about 20 miles west of the Naco port of entry, at the same location where Trump's vice presidential candidate JD Vance made a media appearance on Aug. 1.

"We will seal the border, stop the invasion and launch the largest deportation effort in American history," Trump asserted as he stood along the Arizona-Sonora border wall, about 20 miles west of Naco.
Ronald Lee Syvrud, 66, of Benson, was arrested on the same day Trump held a campaign stop along the border wall in Arizona's Cochise County.
Trump claimed credit for border wall section built under BushFormer President Donald Trump's campaign stop in Arizona at the Bush border wall is a reminder of the cumulative work to build border barriers.
