Smith will join linebacker Jacob Manu, cornerback Tacario Davis, nickel back Treydan Stukes, safety Gunner Maldonado, safety Dalton Johnson and defensive lineman Ta'ita'i Uiagalelei as notable UA defensive players to enter the transfer portal.
