A trio of top progressive politicians in the nation are set to rally in Tucson next weekend.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. is making stops in swing states as part of Sanders’ “fighting oligarchy†tour.
His Tucson stop will include Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Rep. Greg Casar of Texas, chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

The Tucson rally is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Catalina High School, 3645 E Pima St. Doors open an hour earlier.
Attendees are asked to go to to register in advance.
Sanders has promoted as an effort to rally the public against Trump and get Democrats behind an alternative political vision.

Sanders, who labels himself a democratic socialist, said in a November that Democrats have failed to deliver for working-class voters. He noted that minority groups increasingly voted for Trump in the last election.
