If ESPN NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. has anything to say about it, Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan will become the highest-selected Wildcat in draft history.
In Kiper’s that was unveiled on Wednesday, McMillan is projected to land at No. 6 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Former UA linebacker and College Football Hall of Famer Ricky Hunley was drafted seventh overall in 1984.
McMillan “makes some sense†for the New England Patriots at No. 4 overall, per Kiper, who has the Pats taking Penn State linebacker Abdul Carter.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV offensive tackle Jonah Savaiinaea wasn’t mentioned in Kiper’s mock draft, but the three-year starter is projected by other outlets to land in the first round.
