Five Arizona baseball players earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors Monday, and they’re all pitchers.
The five are right-handers Casey Hintz, Dawson Netz, Tony Pluta, Antony “Tonko†Susac and Cam Walty.
Hintz, a sophomore, has a 3.54 GPA while working toward admission to the Eller College of Management. He posted a 3-1 record with two saves and a 4.13 ERA this past season.
Pluta, Hintz’s classmate, has a 3.90 GPA while pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering. He also had two saves with a 3.07 ERA.
Netz, a departing graduate student, has a 3.83 GPA (3.66 undergrad) while seeking a grad degree in real estate development. Netz made 94 appearances in a UA uniform, second most in program history for a pitcher.
Susac, a junior, has a 3.73 GPA while pursuing a degree in personal and family financial planning. Susac had a team-high three saves in 2024.

Walty, a senior, completed a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a GPA of 3.59. He made the All-Pac-12 team with eight wins, a 3.29 ERA and a 1.35 BB/9 rate that was the second lowest in program annals.
